A new center where art, design, technology, innovation, and science converge. A place where students are trained to be agents of change, to channel their natural curiosity and talent into professional skills that will make a difference. A space where thoughts and imagination are transformed into practical applications and inventiveness.
The center will consolidate all the research and innovation activities across the academy’s various departments and disciplines, creating new opportunities and providing a platform for artists and designers to excel in these efforts. Faculty members associated with the Innovation Center work in such diverse fields as human-machine interaction, cultured meat, human-machine interaction, and augmented reality combined with artificial intelligence, continuously striving to keep Israel at the forefront of these technologies.

Designed for Flow
Planned to be on the top floor of the Bezalel Academy for Arts and Design's new home, one of the most important projects currently being built in Jerusalem, the Center is a critical part of the academy's strategic move back into the heart of the city. Total cost is estimated at $164 M and the sleek design is the vision of the Pritzker Prize winning Japanese SANAA architecture studio.

More Connected
Thanks to the Patrick and Lina Drahi Center, the Academy will be able to expand its alliances in Israel and abroad, establish new partnerships, launch collaborative projects, and base entrepreneurial relationships with a vast network of universities, research centers, companies, and nonprofits.
