The Machshava Elementary School for Arts and Communications, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, is a holistic learning framework for new immigrants aimed at integrating them into Israeli life through Jewish and Zionist education.
It includes a full curriculum in all fields of study, as well as an enrichment program that has made it famous in Israel’s Northern periphery.
The School’s main objectives are to provide a comprehensive educational experience, which includes a full array of arts, music, communications, sciences, math, and language classes for 300 students.
- 15 Children Playing the Violin
- 4 Weekly Hours of Music per Class
- 35 Musicians in the School Orchestra

Music at the Center
Music makes up a significant portion of the curriculum. The school aims to increase the educational and professional staff accompanying the music program, expanding it in the coming years in order to engage even more students. Its vision is to serve as an educational model and a source of knowledge in the fields of music and the arts for other elementary schools.

And Now the Violins
Thanks to the Patrick and Lina Drahi Foundation, the School’s orchestra will be expanded to include violin players and will receive funding for violin lessons.
